History

Although Queen Zuri is new to Connecticut, we have over 50 years of culinary expertise in New Orleans food.
We have made quality the cornerstone of all of our efforts because our customers are an extension of our family.  Our expertise and experience shows in the beautiful, finely crafted southern desserts and foods we produce, the large selection of delicious sweet and savory food and our friendly, personalized service.
Our sweet and savory recipes date back to 1940, from our grandmother Ms. Pinky.  "Ms. Pinky" as she is referred to... baked and cooked with high quality and pure ingredients, no additives or preservatives used in her recipes. Today, Ms. Pinky's legacy still demands the same quality ingredients used in all of the desserts and dishes we create at Queen Zuri. 
When you enter Queen Zuri you get the entire experience of music, food and atmosphere.  We thank our grandmother "Ms. Pinky" for an invaluable legacy!!
